We have over the years heard many horror stories about people who have booked a mobile disco believing that they are booking what they see on  an advert.   Only to find that the disco that turns up is either not what they ordered, or at best a cut down version of what they expected.  So what is different about our show I hear you ask.   We own all our equipment  and rarely hire anything in.  “So what you see really is what you get.“   Once a date is booked with us and a deposit taken we are not available to anyone else. We never double book..

 

We will issue a written contract to you confirming all the details of your booking.  As a second safeguard a copy of your  contract and our date sheet is held by a third party in the extremely unlikely event that we are unable to honour a booking (illness or death) you would be contacted by that third party and a replacement would be provided.  

 

Our Charges

 

There is an old saying “If its too cheap then its rubbish”. I suppose that in some cases this could be true.  You can also pay too much for something.  I know of cases ware people have paid well over the odds for a disco only to find that the operator turns up with his music on a laptop and a couple of light effects and charges twice what we would charge.  “Yes you can also pay too much for too little”.

 

We consider that our prices are good value for money whilst not being over the top.   Prices are based on the time that we are dealing with your booking certain Key dates in the calendar will attract a higher price such as Christmas & new years eve.  Our prices include time spent on site before and after a booking.  It typically takes about an hour to set up and take down the disco.

 

Health & Safety

We believe that safety forms an important part of what we provide and we take regular steps to ensure your personal safety & our own whilst operating the disco.   Our equipment is regularly inspected and maintained.  The disco is checked for electrical safety annually using a sophisticated test program PAT Testing which is provided by my other  business. Gilzean Electronics with a machine which is annually calibrated and certified to a national test standard.  Our system is so accurate that we already look after the testing requirements of several other local bands and disco’s.  Click here for Gilzean Electronics

 

We actively discourage certain practices which include a no glass rule on the dance floor.  We also hold public liability insurance for £10,000.000.  We are able to provide a copy of our health & safety policy on request.  , public liability certificate, and test log, which can be forwarded to your chosen venue on request.

 

 

Your Booking is Guaranteed

 

If you have decided to book my mobile disco I will now need to provide you with a quote and a contract in writing.  This is really simple. You can now do all this online by clicking the interactive button above and use the booking form. (subject to contract terms & conditions).  We will then issue you with a unique code to access our party or wedding planner music lists etc,. Or if you would prefer, just pick up the telephone and either phone the number above which is usually diverted to my mobile. Leave me a message or send me an instant message via the interactive button .  As soon as I can I will phone you back and discuss your requirements with you.  Provided I am not booked on the date you require if you are happy with the quote I can finalise your booking quickly.  The date is then exclusively yours.  A written contract will be produced and sent to you via post.  Once signed  and returned the date is reserved for you only.   Its simple and easy to book my mobile disco.   If you have special requirements we can arrange this before the date of the performance such as music for weddings.  Back ground music for dinners etc,  “ Yes one call really does it all.”  if you require other entertainment  we have a long association with a local agency who  can further assist you .
